Questions UAE families ask
Is there a NIOS exam centre in Dubai or Sharjah?＋
Yes. NIOS runs examinations in the UAE through approved centres; Edument students have written in Dubai and Sharjah. Your counsellor confirms the centre for the session before you register.
Is the NIOS certificate accepted in the UAE?＋
NIOS is a national board of the Government of India, equivalent to CBSE and state boards for higher education in India. For UAE universities and attestation, requirements vary by institution; we help with the equivalency and attestation steps.
Can my child continue at a UAE school later?＋
Yes. Many students use NIOS to complete Class 10 or 12 and then join a college or university in India or abroad. Moving back into a regular UAE school is possible at the next admission window, subject to that school's rules.
When are the intakes?＋
Two a year: registration around March–April and September–October, exams in April–May and October–November. Late registration windows sometimes open with a fee.
What does it cost in AED?＋
Edument tuition and support is quoted in AED, term-wise; NIOS registration and exam fees are paid separately to NIOS. Use the NIOS page fee tool or ask on WhatsApp for the current sheet.
